Apothic Red Review

To begin with, the cork was soft but in decent condition. Apothic Red, which appeared dark in the glass, displayed slow falling fat legs that looked like fingers. This provided us with our first glimpse of the depth of the material. According to the winemaker, there was 13.1 percent alcohol by volume in the scent, which we both noted as well. The aroma was of dark, jammy fruit, possibly with a trace of licorice in the background.
