Every “street” is named after a certain grape variety, such as Pinot Noir or Cabernet Sauvignon. Visitors cautiously navigate their automobiles or bicycles through the maze, which follows standard traffic standards. Moldova’s Mileștii Miciproud boldly proclaims itself to be the world’s largest wine cellar, a claim that is undisputed. Throughout the year, the limestone in the galleries maintains consistent humidity (85–95 percent) and temperature (12–14°C) due to its porous nature.
